Impact of Nutrition Education on Whole Grains Consumption amongst Primary and Middle School Children in Delhi

Imparting nutrition education in schools is an effective tool for inculcating healthy eating behavior early childhood, which will bestow lifelong positive health implications. Ignorance, illiteracy, lack of knowledge, and inappropriate nutritional practices dietary traditions influence the status children. This study assesses existing attitude, prevalent amongst school children (6-14 years) consumption whole grains examines impact intervention on them. 22% participants were from primary age group 6-10 years, 78% middle between ages 11-14 years.
